InclusiveU: You’re In!

peertrainersThere are several ways to attend Syracuse University through the InclusiveU initiative. Here are our current programs:
  • Transition Program – using available self-directed funds/Medicaid Waiver or private funding, register through University College to attend InclusiveU
  • The Access Program – an inclusive community hab program with Onondaga Community Living, for students with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities who have finished high school.
  • The OnCampus Program – an inclusive program with the Syracuse City School District, for students with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 18-21.
  • Project SEARCH – a national employment preparation program that places students in on-campus internships to provide them with marketable and transferable job skills. The program consists of three 10-week placements in different departments around SU, where students learn real job skills that match their career interests, as well as classes in professional skills like resume writing, job-hunting and interviewing.

Once you are a part of InclusiveU, you can participate in Peer2Peer to attend social events, group outings and meet new people on campus.
