State of the Art 2019 Call for Proposals

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 State of the Art Conference on Postsecondary Education and Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. This year’s conference will be held on Wednesday November 13 and Thursday November 14 in Reno, Nevada. General conference information can be found at sotaconference.com.

Proposals must be submitted by March 15, 2019.
Lead presenters will be notified of our decision by the middle of May.

  • Clearly link your brief summary to the primary and secondary topic strands below.
  • The 2019 State of the Art Conference on Postsecondary Education and Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities will be shaped by nine (9) topic strands which can be found at https://www.sotaconference.com/agenda--strands.html. Please indicate which areas are most relevant to your proposal by selecting one primary (most relevant) strand here, and one secondary strand below. Visit our website for a list of topics that would likely fall under the strand. The Proposal Selection Committees of those strands will review your proposal to ensure it is assessed by those best qualified to evaluate it.

    Please provide a detailed 300-500 word description of your proposal, organized in terms of the four selection criteria. Note that the entire 4 sections of the written proposal should be no more than 500 words. You will be evaluated based on your answers and the noted points that each is worth.
