Campus Mentor is a paid position. As a mentor, there are a variety of ways you may support an InclusiveU student including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>attending classes and lectures<\/li>\n<li>studying and homework help<\/li>\n<li>joining clubs and organizations<\/li>\n<li>various other social events, such as Syracuse sports games, and &#8220;Orange After Dark&#8221; activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a class=\"gdlr-core-button gdlr-core-button-shortcode  gdlr-core-button-gradient gdlr-core-button-no-border\" href=\"mailto:saroux@syr.edu\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"margin-right: 20px;\"  ><span class=\"gdlr-core-content\" >Contact Sam Roux about Campus Mentoring Opportunities<\/span><\/a>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Mentors<\/strong> are roommates or neighbors of InclusiveU students, and live in university residential halls throughout campus. Duties of a Residential Mentor include engaging the InclusiveU student socially, such as accompanying the resident to activities on campus and making connections in the residence halls.<\/p>\n<p>A Residential Mentor is also responsible for assisting the InclusiveU student in maintaining a safe and healthy living environment, and helping the student adjust to living independently. Residential Mentors receive their room paid in full.
