InclusiveU Business Engagement Group

What’s it like to hire someone with an intellectual disability?

An integral part of InclusiveU is our internship and employment program, where students partake in internship placements at various campus departments to gain and practice job readiness skills with an end-goal of competitive, full time employment after graduation.

Our Business Engagement Group is made up of business leaders committed to inclusion in the workforce whose main role is supporting our seniors in the job search after graduation.

The time commitment is minimal but the impact for our students is significant – furthering opportunities for individuals with IDD to become independent, successful members of our Syracuse workforce.
