PSworkingInclusiveU offers a one-year internship program for students to prepare them for competitive, integrated employment by totally immersing them in a work environment.

In their final year on campus, students continue to audit courses and participate in two semester-long internships to explore a variety of career paths and to acquire transferable and marketable job skills. Classes and internships are fully inclusive and open to all university students. Our goal is for students to graduate with competitive, inclusive employment.

Qualifying students are placed in two 15-week placements on campus in work-sites that are of interest to them, including the campus bookstore, food services, and auxiliary services. There is also a transition week between placements where an instructor teaches valuable job readiness skills.
