Courses

Otto the Orange with inclusive U studentsWe’ll work together to select courses that match your interests.

Most students take 1-3 classes per semester, and courses typically vary from 1 audit credit to 3 audit credits. When students have completed at least five courses in a particular area of study, they will receive a Certificate in their respective program through University College upon graduation.

Some classes our students have taken in the past include:

  • Art: Intro to Jewelry and Metals, Drawing for Illustration, Intro to Art Photography, The Music of Prince, Concert Choir, Ceramics
  • History: Turning Points of the 20th Century, Women in America, The Civil War, Real News/Face News: The Info Age, European Witch Hunts
  • Science: First Aid and CPR, Intro to Biology, Starts, Galaxies and the Universe, Aliens, Cyborgs, and Other Worlds
  • Movement: Yoga for Emotional Balance, Beginner Swimming, Becoming a Personal Trainer, Hip Hop Zumba, Beginning Fencing, Tai Chi, Bellydancing
  • Food Studies: Intro to Culinary Arts, The Science of Food

Seminars

Develop life skills from our own staff and students of InclusiveU. In addition to regular coursework, you’ll have the option to attend weekly seminars on topics relevant to your own life. Learn how to navigate campus, explore positive life choices, manage money, and more!
